I listened to this song once every 4 years haha since my highschool in 90's, but the chills are the same like you my friend, every second of this song..🎉
This song was never attached to a particular person for me yet always strongly pulls me back to this time on my life. Maybe this song isn't about missing someone else... I'm missing this innocent version of my former self.
I 100% agree with you
Well said, sir
Well said 🖤🌹🖤🧛🏻♀️

This song will STAND the test of time AND it DELIVERs
,,very under rated song.. Adam Ant is great
This is when he showed the world he was more than just a pretty face.
This song was on heavy MTV rotation in the spring of ‘95 when I worked the night shift at a NJ Quality Inn hotel, saving up for a trip out west in my VW camper bus. It’s one of a few songs played on MTV at an exciting time when my 20-yo self was preparing for a big adventure.
I listened to this when me and my wife broke up and realised what I missed and how wonderful she is. We're back together now and have been for 25 years, and I'm so lucky she took me back.
Touching...
Good luck to you guys ❤️
That’s great to hear
Came across this, played it, burst into tears. My life doesn’t even suck. *Sigh.* Thanks, RUclips.
Great song... it’s sad. Makes me think of my ex who’s now battling serious drug addiction and homelessness and I wish I could help her.
Adam Ant makes great in the nineties than in the 80's😀😀😀
Sorry about your friend
CartoonHero thank you for the empathy, it’s really strange last night I spent over an hour trying to remember what song this was because I was thinking about her. I finally remembered and listened to it about 5 times in a row last night, and then all of a sudden you made this thoughtful comment today replying to a comment I made 2 years ago. It may sound weird but this is quite a coincidence. Haven’t heard the song for over a year. But still think about her and worry about her. She’s real bad on drugs. But this strange random comment gives me hope. Thank you. I hope amazing things happen to you. The world needs more empathy and caring people like you
Hey, person reading this: you're wonderful ♡
right back at you! Thanx
You to! 😁
Awww, thanks! I'm gonna cry, thank you I needed that.
You are wonderful for making my day with that! I had to do a double check and make sure I was still in RUclips comments! I was like "Whaaaaa????"
Stop lying. I suck.
Back in late nineties I had a 1971 VW beetle... had a cassette with this song recorded from radio...in my memory I thought it was Colin Hay...tonight in a chapter of Cold Case, heard the lyrics...google...and here I am...so happy...tremendous song...will explore his music, cheers
I love this song. It reflects his maturation. And it's still killer. It's nice to see that talent never dies. His earlier music was so brilliantly creative. Deviant is the word. Like Devo and The B-52's and The Talking Heads it was so quirky yet so sensible. Wild, beautiful logic. Nothing could ever be better
This was a FANTASTIC "come back" song, showing he could still write a great, timelessly beautiful song with heartfelt, intelligent lyrics-not just that-but a song outside of his "genre"!! Kudos sir on this gem!
Haven't heard this song in twenty years, still rocks!!!!!!!!
Old80sPimp
song is so frickin gooood
I just heard it today while driving. I’d forgotten how good this is. GREAT tune.
Funny thing is when I was a teenager in the nintys I didn't appreciate music like this I'm 37 now and realize the quality of alot of our music compared to today's noise lol
Oh my goodness... you grew up with some of the coolest music. Music is the 90s was full of creative and diverse styles. I loved it.
Totally agree. I am 39. I grew up in the 90's, but was listening to stuff from the 70's.
i was 15 in 94 when this was released..still sounds good at 40
@@jasonjohnson9810 Was it the "Rumours" album?
I like 2020 pop too but yeah
This is one of the greatest songs ever written. Beautiful
This song was not under rated in the philly area. This was on the radio non stop in the 90s. Great song. Today's music needs to take a few notes from Adam Ant
103.9 WDRE- Dare to be different!
2020 and still listening, still an Ant Fan

Yep never gets old⚘⚘💞💞
My favorite Adam Ant song because I feel like this his inner core and soul singing.
I wish he would do more music like this.
So true!!!
Still enamoured with this forgotten classic from the iconic Adam Ant 🤩
Best 80s song ever released in the 90s!
Still loving this tune in 2019
Adrian, desde Argentina....hace 25 años que este tema me conmueve....simplemente maravilloso
Shannon Hultz song is timeless...you could hear it in 3020 and it would still resonate
Never stopped loving it
This is the better version, Adam pours his soul into it; beautiful. Should have been a much bigger hit for him.
One of the greatest songs ever heart and soul, not caring what people think
This is for my late husband..."So high I can't get over it, so deep I can't get under it."...I miss you.
+Kristin Scott - This song makes me think of my wife every time I hear it...which, unfortunately, isn't enough. Be strong...
I'm so sorry for your loss
Ms. Roslin
I think of this song eveytime we have a fight or disagreement, I'm only half of a strong person, or less, she truely is wonderful. I might be physically strong but mentally she's far superior.
SisterThredsonlove it
so sorry sweetie.Prayers for you.
this is what's called "peaking" when you can't possibly get any better, when you reach the limit, skill capped.
Did I tell you how much I miss
Your sweet kiss?
Did I tell you I didn't cry?
Well I lied
I lie lie lied
Over real over
When I nearly hit the face I loved
So tired of packaging the anger
Always pushing you away
Did I tell you you're wonderful?
I miss you yes I do
Did I tell you that I was wrong?
I was wrong
'Cause you're wonderful yeah
Did I tell you how much I miss
Your smile?
Did I tell you I was okay?
Well no way
No way way way
You're wonderful yeah yeah
Now now now each and every day
I realize the price I have to pay
You you're wonderful
And now for your information
I'm walking around like an arm decoration
You you're wonderful
So high I can't get over it
So deep I can't get under it
You
You're wonderful yeah
You're wonderful yeah yeah
You're wonderful yeah yeah
You're wonderful yeah yeah
Wonderful
Did I tell you you're wonderful?
I miss you yes I do
Did I tell you that I was wrong?
I was wrong
For so long long long
So glad I experienced the 80's and 90's. Youth of today don't know music
Instantly brings back the summer of 1995.
i found this song on my dads MP3 player when i was 7. i FINALLY found this song. it will continue to haunt my dreams forever..... ._.
+Sweetcarrot123 This song is why you were born. :P
Lol
@@Rocketninja200 spot on perfect
This a tough song for me to listen to. It evokes the terror of emotional honesty within one's self. The follies of youth and my lack of self discipline drove a wonderful young lady away from my arms, heart, and soul over 35 years ago. Never underestimate the power of forgiveness - it can topple the most immense obstacles to reconcilation. Praise God that maturity happens and that we can share our experiences with others.
Yep never gets old 💞💞⚘⚘⚘
Man, I haven't listened to this song in years. Brings me back so many nostalgic memories.
Lyrical and vocal prowess combined in this song. Timeless Classic.
Possibly his best? :]
Yeah. He meant what he said on this. It comes across. God less you Stu, Cuz, plow on and take every day as a blessing as I know you do. Tell everybody they are loved.
"Goody Two Shoes," ha ha.
This song always reminds me of this girl who I met in college when I played hoops in the 80’s. I met up with her again 10 years ago with her divorce and my separation. It was love all over again! I miss her soo damn much! She lives in OH has some asshole that treats her like shit and she won’t talk to me! She told me that it was too hard because of our distance. I sang this song to her many times in the 80’s in
My VW square back! I have tried to contact her again and still doesn’t respond. Sad, but I have to move on. If you ever see this message out here, crazier things have happened! Her initials are CS. Mine are DRB.
I'm not this person, but I wish you the best of luck in finding her!
Great music never dies
Love this dude! Best feel good song . He's a U.K treasure . Feeling wonderful from the USA
Wow, reminds me of my high school days with that first serious bf. This was “our song” ☺️
I like this version; a well crafted, soulful song. Adam's best IMO
not sure why something told me that I needed to hear this song, but It’s wonderful that It did ❤️
I have herd this song in so long. I love this song rediscovered it as I was shopping at Abercrombie, and herd it on their techno station. Immediately I held up my smart phone with my sound hound app working and gave me the goods. Adam Ant this is a well underrated piece of art. Thanks for the memories Abercrombie!!!
+Earl Alexis Abercrombie's playlist this season has far more alt rock than past seasons. This is one of my favorite songs off of it this season, I've never heard of it before this year.
I'm glad for that. I use to be a manager there and loved my job. Great memories. I still shop there though and I always love the selection of music that Abercrombie puts out.
Love this. Brings back so many memories ❤️
I must have heard this song one hundred times this morning...Sweet Song!
so good, he is so talented
This should be a theme song for all of us who give up a special person too soon. How she is so wonderful to love us.
crazy ass great song
I miss you Mindy, you’re wonderful my love! R.I.P
Rest in Peace Mindy 🙏

Anyone in 2019?
What about the video to this song . He shows so much emotion in his face & sometimes the songs do best with a video .
Excellent, awesome, and lovely... your So, brilliant. please keep up the good work. Much appreciation for your soulful melodies that touch our hearts
Ran out and bought this cd after I heard this song for the first time back in the 90's! Love it still in 2017 ♥️
Yep never gets old💞💞⚘⚘⚘
2024 here, and I am still listening
2020 anyone....this masterpiece is awesome
I remember listening to this song in the morning getting ready to go to High School. So many cool memories. #EddieDavisInTheMorning975PST #BigGreasyBreakfast
High school sucked for most people
Amazing song. The entire CD is great!
The first time I heard this song was an acoustic version he did on the Howard Stern show I knew it would be a hit
Brian Walker That was a great performance on Stern.
this is an excellent track
My FAVOURITE ever ADAM track, it's so deeply emotional and yes, WONDERFUL!... Such a important track
Due to the repetition of lyrics thousands of times when writing, rehearsing, recording and performing it the artist has created a sort of self-affirming mantra of which has been heard by a large audience. With the expression of regret throughout the song, one hopes that it did indeed change how he reacts in all of his relationships. If he and his love have healed from whatever events inspired this song than it is truly Wonderful.
It is just one of his best songs .
Flashback. Time Flies. Thanks Adam Ant.
1995 still had some great stuff
This is gorgeous song! Love it.
ADAM ANT TILL I DIE
Yes....yes....YES !!!!!! ❤️
This is an awesome song! I never knew it was Adam ant and I always struggled to find it in searches! My jam when I was a teenager!
great show in Dallas! you rock Adam! Love you bro!
My absolute favorite 90's song. (SIGH)
Never gets old 💞💞💞⚘⚘⚘
This song was a radical departure for him. And while a big fan of the early Adam and the Ants and on to his solo stuff; far and away this is my favorite by him. I was always amazed it didn't get much airplay. Great production values, lyrics, well arranged & played. Oh well... MTV must've decided against it... Evil corporate hacks...
Peace out all!
Love this song...very powerful, and of course, it punctuates a point in my life where I got into different music and relationships. The common acoustic solo version is excellent and fun to play along with.
Heard this song at some random restaurant in town. Brought me back to being a kid riding around in my mom's brown 88 Buick. Lol
I dont get out of bed for anything less than this.
I just melt when he sings "I miss...... your smile" Very beautiful!
Was anyone surprised to learn way back that this was Adam? I remember thinking "You're kidding me" when the radio announced who the singer was. It differed from his earlier stuff quite a bit for example that one weird song where he sang "Clint. Eastwood."
i never heard that song before but i love it !
Major unknown instrumental of his, is called "Man called Marco" - so cool, yet so unknown.....listen to it and enjoy!!
Marco Perroni
Hi I'm Marco....
"DID I TELL YOU YOU'RE
WONDERFUL" ? 🖤💜🖤
"I MISS U
YES I DO"
Man these comments make me not want to be a millenial. Heh but at least I'm 12 and know the meaning of good music
Thanks to my dad of course
you arent a millenial bro. If you’re 13 now you’re either gen z or the one after that
Thank you 🙏 you too!! Love ❤️ this song so much!!
Listening to this song made me think of my boyfriend Alan who I missed spending time with during COViD. Now after 2 years of being lonely during the lockdown, I am so happy that we are back together again. Every moment I spend with him is wonderful.
I've been looking for this song for about 8 years, I'm elated right now!!!!!!!!!!!
This song is to me emotionally crippling, sole destroying and heart breaking,, it sums up how i stupidly treated my now x wife, i adored her, she was my world, she was everything i ever wanted and needed and so much more, she broke my heart, i broke my heart. Turn back time, if only
+the faceman we all things we regret I know I have and your right this song hits home hard.
the faceman
Suck it up soon
we cant change the past .we have to admit we were wrong and hope that we dont repeat our mistakes
the faceman u just wasn't the rite guy at that time happens to most of us stay strong
bless you little angel
This should have 100mn views
This song as a angsty teen in my room in the late 90s
This song makes me think of a huge open sky with clouds rushing through. Something about the tune I guess.
I recorded the video on VHS. And played it over and over again. Good old, rewind and play.
Love you Adam!!! Thanks for the great music!!!
This is gorgeous song!
Volviendo a ese lindo tiempo, después de tantos años por fin encontré esta hermosa canción....
Such a great song that gets so little air play, I pick up on what I think is the lead in, and I am faked out by some Cranberries song (Kiss Me? - yech KMA, I wanted to hear Adam Ant!!!) aaanyway, I hear it and I am driving Sunset to Beverly Canyon waving bye bye to the UCLA campus. See ya later!
As good as Duran Duran Ordinary World and that always gets play
I'm feeling it. 2021.
Me too
This song is about the actress Heather Graham. He met Heather in acting classes after he had left for America. The relationship was stormy due to Adam's bipolar disorder - so he wrote this song to say 'sorry'. To me, it's his best track, heartfelt and plain honest. It would be nice to know whether Heather ever found out about this track and that it was written for her.
He wrote it for her a few years after they broke up and sent to her. She cried. He mentioned this at a concert in Manchester this year.
what year did he meet her? ..
james williams had to be early 90's since this song came out in 1995
Yeah, he sent it to her, she cried, she was already in another relationship by then... love lost forever.
Michael Halton I could have told you "something stupid" decades ago, and never meet any One.
Just think this is a great, moving song.... Takes me right back to the very first time I hear it, life was much simplier then.... Thanks, ADAM!!!!
I love Adam Ant! and was so happy when they had his music in Umbrella Academy.
Me too!
willow mel * internet high five* 🖐🏻 (In case you couldn’t tell I’m a massive nerd) 👻🙃
Such an awesome change from the early years... which were awesome too.
I miss you, you are wonderful. Can't wait to see you again Steven. I love you always.
Thanks for uploading this. He's a little older and still banging out hits. Yiyeah
